The end or the beginning? Either way, it’s goodbye for a good, long while…
Thursday, January 12th, 2012Ever since I was little, I’ve always wanted to be a writer. I took up writing on my own in my free time from school, in 6th grade I got the ‘future writer award’, I have manuscripts/novels of (almost) finished work from where I wrote them in middle and high school, I have a collection of over 200 (more like 3-400 now) of poems. I even self published my first poetry book on Amazon Kindle store back in August.
Not only that, but I have been writing on blogs for a very, very long time. I’ve written on this particular blog since 7/11/2010 and it’s been an interesting road. I feel like I’ve written tons of entries, but I guess I really haven’t. I’ve only written 100ish entries per this blog since having it.
But I lack something. I lack a topic to write about. I lack a lot of commenters. I feel like I lack readers. What can I do to make people read my blog? What can I do to keep your attention? Give me advice. Leave me comments on what I can do to gain readers!
That being said, I’m quitting blogging here for a while. A good while, probably. I might be back sooner than later. You can catch me on Twitter, Facebook and so on. I might write on my business blog PitchmenEnthusiast.com but I might not. I need to figure out why blogging isn’t working out for me. Or, why I feel that way.
In the meantime, if you guys didn’t know, I’m a part of a really sweet deal at SD Skis. I’m the VP, Marketer, Social Media, eBayer, admin, etc with the company and we are close to getting a storefront place for offices, retail store, garages and etc. I cannot wait! It’s keeping me busy. There’s about to be even more changes (for the better) and I’ll have a little bit more work to do. I need to focus on marketing, for sure, and making sure I do it right.
So… this is goodbye for a while. Please don’t take me out of your RSS feeds because I will be back (eventually).
